Detailed Itinerary

Day-by-day breakdown

Day 1: Pickup from Haridwar to Barkot

Your spiritual journey begins with a pickup from Haridwar. Drive towards Barkot, enjoying scenic views of the Yamuna River and lush green valleys. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Dinner will be served at the hotel.


Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri & Return

Drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point for the Yamunotri trek. Begin the trek (6 km one way) to Yamunotri Temple. Ponies and palkis are available for convenience.

After offering prayers and visiting Surya Kund, return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a serene town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri & Return

Drive to Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganga. Offer prayers at Gangotri Temple and spend some peaceful time by the river. Later, return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

After breakfast, drive towards Guptkashi. Enjoy the scenic beauty of rivers, valleys, and mountain roads along the way. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest. Dinner included.


Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Early morning drive to Sonprayag, then to Gaurikund. Begin the trek to Kedarnath (16 km). Alternatively, you can opt for pony, palki, or helicopter services.

Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and visit Kedarnath Temple. Dinner and overnight stay near Kedarnath.


Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

After morning दर्शन at Kedarnath Temple, begin your descent to Gaurikund. From there, drive back to Guptkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and visit Badrinath Temple. Attend the evening aarti for a divine experience. Dinner and overnight stay.


Day 9: Badrinath to Rishikesh via Haridwar

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Rishikesh via Haridwar. Enjoy scenic views along the way as your sacred Char Dham Yatra concludes.
